Behind The Seekr
Why I Started The Seekr
Hi, I’m Enrique Sotto—father, writer, and someone who’s always been more of a seeker than an expert.
The idea for The Seekr didn’t come from a dramatic pivot or some perfectly timed epiphany. It started in the front seat of my car—just me and my son on a drive, windows down, and a million questions coming from the back.
“Why do cars cost more if they still go the same speed?”
“How do you know where you’re going if you’ve never been there before?”
“Why do adults say ‘someday’ so much?”
“Can you still be brave if you don’t know what to do?”
Those questions stuck. Not just because they were honest—but because I didn’t always have an answer. And the older I got, the more I realized that most of us are still asking questions like those. We just stop saying them out loud.
So I started seeking better answers—on life, on travel, on money, on how to move through the world with more clarity and less autopilot. That search turned into this site.
The Seekr is for people who don’t pretend to have it all figured out—but who keep showing up, asking smarter questions, and trying to live with a little more intention.
Our mission
Made for the curious, the capable, and the still figuring it out.
It’s a space for asking better questions, thinking things through, and staying sharp in a world that moves too fast. Whether you’re confident, uncertain, or somewhere in between, we got you.
What The Seekr Is
The Seekr was never meant to showcase certainty. It’s about learning with intention, not pretending to already know it all.
🚘
Auto
We won’t tell you which car is “best.” We will help you figure out what matters for your needs—and yes, we’ll explain what that weird dashboard light means.
🌻
Wellness
No perfect morning routines here. Just practical, real-life ways to feel better in the body and mind you’re living in today.
✈️
Travel
Less about “must-see” lists, more about building meaningful experiences—and having a solid backup plan when things inevitably go off-script.
💲
Finance
Grounded in the idea that financial advice should help you sleep better, not just sound impressive in a conversation you didn’t want to be in anyway.
The Real People Behind The Seekr
While I may be the founder, The Seekr is shaped by a small team of writers, researchers, and contributors who are relentlessly curious—and just as committed to getting things right as they are to making them readable. Every piece goes through fact-checking and editorial review, because being relatable doesn’t mean being casual with the truth.

We don’t overcomplicate things. What you’ll find here is the kind of guidance I’d want my son to have one day—clear, useful, and honest enough to stand on its own. If we publish it, it’s because it adds something real. That’s the promise—and we stand behind it.
